I think all this talk about how will they possibly be able to pay 5 or 10 million dollars is a waste of breath. There's a saying that a good lawyer never has to go to trial, they force the defendant to settle. The girls lawyers have been hinting at damning evidence they will bring out in the trial and now they raised the damages to a comical amount. These tactics are to scare Greg into settling for a lesser amount. Greg might even try to spin it as a win because he didn't have to pay the full 10 million. In any civil lawsuit there is a mandated mediation they have to go through. I bet that when they all sit down at the table the girls lawyers will offer Greg and Lainey a deal. Pay $150,000 in damages to each girl and a stipulation that he cannot speak their names ever again or use stupid analogies that are obviously about them. I think for Sarah and Regina having the courts force Greg to stop dragging their names through the mud is the biggest part of the lawsuit. The money is just a cherry on top. We already know he has over 280k in the cash sitting in various bank accounts. Having to pay out $300,000 in total would deplete his life savings but he could move on and not have to deal with this hanging over his head with wage and benefit garnishments until the end of time to satisfy a 10 million dollar judgement.

On May 5th the Trustee entered his objection to the bankruptcy confirmation because Onision cannot include Regina and Sarah as debtors. On the same day Greg filed a motion to dismiss his own bankruptcy case "for Other Cause." May 7th the court granted the motion to dismiss. The bankruptcy hearing that was intended to be held on May 17th to present an amended plan is removed from the court calendar because its dismissed.
So if I'm reading this correctly, that's the end of Onision's struggle at a pre-emptive strike against paying damages to Regina and Sarah by filing for Chapter 13. Once he realized that he couldn't include them as debtors he abandoned the whole thing. And what does he get for his attempt? Both of them now have ruined credit for the next 7-10 years. This whole thing is playing out beautifully.
